1st Entry.....Rules on Durable Goods I sell online
Posted 14th December 2010 at 11:29 PM by flowbee77
Trying this blog thing out.
Today I found a new product I can sell.
Everyday is an opportunity and I never waste time jumping on an opportunity.
It's a durable good/ Hard line Product. I have certain rules I have about durable goods that I sell online.
First, the product must be small. If it fits in my hand (one hand) comfortably I will think about selling it. The reason is because I do not want to spend too much money in shipping.
Second, it must have the opportunity to go viral on facebook. I begin most of my product launches on facebook to see if it will become popular. I think of my friends as product testers; funny thing is they don't even know they are being used, haha.
Third, the cost of the item must be between 2 cents and 15 US dollars with a profit margin of at least $5; if it is under $5 I won't even consider it. I do not deal in high dollar merchandise. It's been my experience that the risk is too high and I am more interested in trinkets that I can ship easily.
Today I found a nice little product that I can start to sell tomorrow as "stocking stuffers" and should sell well even after Christmas.
I will see how it goes tomorrow; see how it tests out.
