Creating infoproducts either in digital or physical (CDs and Books) can be daunting to many.

One of my first ever infoproduct which I created back in 1997 was "How To Obtain a $50,000 Bank Loan with Only Your Signature" in a self-published 12page booklet measuring no more than 9 x 6inches. How much would you be willing to pay for such privileged insider information?
Well, it was selling at the time for $18.00 and my cost was about $8.00.
More than 200 hard copies were sold. Scepticism had prevented more from obtaining this inside information.

You see, I was working with a financial institution specialising in project financing for infrastructures, resorts and property developments, industrial and aquaculture projects. Thus, I have accessed to such insider information.

In 2000, I updated the content of the same book and published in digital format as an ebook. To attract interest and to capture leads, I distributed a free 3 page ebook outlining all the contents and a discount for ordering the full version. That was the first time I came to use popups. Next, I offered the free booklet to most of the online vendors involving in the financial industry.
They welcomed with open arms because they saw an opportunity my free book presented them - to be able to follow-up with the prospects in the optin list to offer their own financial services such as investment instruments, etc.

The full version of the book was priced at $88.00 and the discount offered was 25percent and another 25 percent for the vendors. In the first 3 months, a total of over 5000 copies were sold. Not much by today's standard perhaps, but not bad either. Thereafter, the average sale per month over a twelve month period. was around 280 copies.

Anyone with a worthwhile experience or knowledge that could help others, can write and publish their own work. This is by far, the quickest way for a IM newbie to get started and make money almost instantly.

I started with an inforproduct containing much sought after information and viable solution. No website and newsletter of my own. Capitalized on high value of the information with the right pricing and, willingness to seek help from other established internet entrepreneurs in the same niche industry and sharing the profits, was a feasible and win-win solution.
The first month alone netted more than $80,000.

Do not be afraid to take the plunge so long as your creation has real (not just perceived to have) intrinsic value that truly provide a much needed information and sought after solution. During the 1997 financial crisis, there were lots of jobless and people who lost their pants in the stock market. Everyone of them were looking for a quick way out. I saw the opportunity and I provided the best solution to them at the time as compared to...say... turning to loan-sharks (Ah-Long)

So, hope my sharing of my experience here, can be a motivating factor to those of you with aspirations to strike out on your own and to be the next Internet Entrepreneur Success Story.

Don't just be a bystander, take the first step and explore how you too can succeed online and achieve financial freedom.
