Goa is India’s smallest state in terms of area and the fourth smallest in population. Goa encompasses an area of 1,430 sq miles. Most of Goa is a part of the coastal country known as the Konkan. Goa has a coastline of 63 sq miles.
Goa is one of the famous exotic places, it is not only reasonable but people genuinely enjoy there.
Goa wasn’t hailed as being a haven for tourists overnight, it has been a gradual & slow but steady process and is now praised for its beautiful beaches, distinct culture and rich heritage, but there is much more to Goa then the beaches and historical monuments, it is most importantly the attitude that the people of Goa have towards tourists .Goan’s are friendly, large hearted and most importantly they are relaxed and live up their reputation of being ‘Susegad’ a term which means relaxed. It is indeed the ideal destination for holiday makers.
Goa also has many traditional church buildings that attract the tourists too. One of the famous churches is of St. Francis Xaviers church that is one of the oldest churches in Goa. This is for the ones who are interested to know about churches.
Some of the best beaches in the North of Goa are, Anjuna beach, Candolim beach, Dona Paula beach, Miramar beach, Baga beach, Vagator beach, Sinquerim beach, Bambolim beach. Agonda beach -The Aguada Bay is between two promontories the Cabo and Aguada. Parts of the bay are known as Caranzalem and Sinquerim Bay. , Cavelossim beach, Benavali beach. The most tourist would be the Calanguta, Baga, Anjuna strip in The Bardesh subdivision which is north of Panaji.
