A quick first post

This won't be another silly marketing blog. That's what JimmyRose.net is for
Right now I'm a full time control systems engineer, and I spent around 40 hours a week making money for other people. I don't mind my job, but I hate having deadlines and timetables set by other people.
I've been at the marketing gig for a while now, and am recently getting into it full swing. With plans to drop real life and work the slopes at Lake Louise in Canada starting this November, I intend to never return to a full time job again. So that gives me about 10 months to make a livable income from web marketing. Should be fairly achievable, but limited time makes it bloody hard. At most I only have 2-3 hours a day available, mainly due to having-a-life getting in the way.
Then once there is no job to worry about, it will be all about scaling to a point where I am satisfied. If I have it my way, I won't be doing more than a few hours of work a week by the time I am 30. At 23, that gives me a bit of time...
