The first thing you’re going to do is create a Facebook fan page from your Facebook profile, then we’re going to add a name and description, and finally we’re going to add a profile picture.

That’s it! Three simple steps and you’ll have your Facebook page up and running. Now let’s take a look at what this looks like in real time.



Okay so let’s create a Facebook business page. So you need to do this from your profile so log into your profile.

Now I’ve created a couple of pages already so I have down here on the left hand side I have all my pages and if I just click on here, I can go right up here and create a page.

If you don’t have this, all you have to do is go up to the
search bar and just type in “pages” and then click Facebook pages. That will take you to create a page and the screen pops up here, click “create a page.”

So then you have to decide what it is you’re going to be on Facebook. Are you a local business, are you an artist or a
public figure, are you all about entertainment, a cause or community, a company or institution, a brand or product. I’m gonna go for brand or product.

Then choose a category. I’ll do something about lifestyle. Health I think I’ll go with health and beauty. You’ll select your brand or product name.

Agree to Facebook terms and get started.

Now the first thing it’s going to ask me is what is my page going to be about – tips and strategies to eat clean and live in a clean environment.

I’ll probably change this but for now that’s it. Now if you have a website which I happen to have a website that will go
along with this Facebook page and it’s CleanforLife.me.

It asks me if I’m a real organization and yes I am, I’m the
legal representative of this organization, and save info.

It’s asking for a profile picture. You need to decide what you want this to be. This is what’s going to show up on the bottom left corner of your time line cover, fanpage cover. I would
like this to actually be my picture because I don’t have
a logo for this yet. I might create a logo for this
business but right now I’m just going to use my picture.

Now you can upload from your computer or you can take something from a website.

Click Next, and then you want to say where we
want this to show up on the left side of your Facebook Profile page. I’ll leave it right in the news feed.

How easy was that?

When you first open it up you have this admin panel which
shows your stats which, we’ll learn about those later. You can
hide that. So here I am me and I’m in the health and beauty
category and I offer tips and strategies to eat clean and live in a clean environment.

I could start posting here. I could do some status updates. I could get people to like my page. I could create an ad to promote my Facebook business page, add a time line cover, We’ll discuss all those along with the Facebook Business Page Layout in the next trainings.
