Is There A Such Thing As Free?

Is there really a such thing as "free" in this world? There may be many different opinions on this topic, but to my experience, nothing is free in this world. Although it is a very common term used in marketing products or other businesses, you just can't get anything in this world without any strings attached!
For instance, let's take a look at Credit Karma. I'm sure many of you have seen the commercials or have actually visited the website to get a "free" credit score. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you didn't get your credit score 100% free as advertised. You had to exchange your information in order to receive your free credit score. Do you see where I am going with this? The point that I want to prove, is that there is no such thing as something being "free". It is a word that is thrown around to make things appeal much more "shiny" to the human eyes.
This leads me to my next point. I am sure there are many of you who have heard of the business Instant Payday Network. If not, it is a business that allows you to get paid when you direct a referral to get "free" trials of products offered by Fortune 500 companies. I currently still make money from this business, but I feel that many people fail because they market it as being 100% free when it is not. It almost feels as if the marketers who promote this program this way are hiding something.
When signing up for "free" trials, you can choose to pay for them, or you can cancel them before the company bills your card. THIS is how I got started for "free" and making money with this system. Although this can be considered a hassle to many people, I didn't get my card charged, but I still exchanged my information. After all, I didn't pay to start making money with this program, but I didn't get it for free either.
To sum all of this up, I want you to realize that there is nothing that you can get in this world that will be completely free. In other words, something has got to give in order for you to get what it is that you want for "free."
