Amazon Affiliate Program

I was just checking my stats on Amazon's affiliate program. In the many years, I've made approx. $50 on sales of over US$1200 ... since I've not really tried.
The actual CTR was quite impressive... about 10%-11% if I discount my own test clicks.
Pity the actual sales total is so low! So I'm going to find some ways to start to drive traffic to the sites that host my Amazon store.
I also managed to integrate the store very neatly with my own site. The only downside is I can't track which pages people go to on the frame, but it works well on my main site. If you want take a look.
Wordpress themes are pretty flexible, so removing the blog sidebar made a much neater integration. It was easy enough to choose the colors, and the only remaining problem is integrating the frame so the scroll bars don't show too often. They're pretty ugly.
Anyone here had success doing this?
