5 Reasons to Join the Amazon Associates program

It seems that not many people talk about the Amazon associates program much anymore.
Most of the talk is about Amazon FBA and stuff like that. Too much work for me. I'm too lazy.
That's why the Amazon associates is the perfect fit. It's a really passive affiliate strategy. You send people through to Amazon and they do the rest.
That was my first reason by the way.
Here are 4 more reasons to join:
- There are thousands of low competition niches that are still pretty much wide open. While everybody is competing in crowded methods and niches elsewhere, you can easily get away from that. Less competition is better.
- There are plenty of expensive products and people are becoming more comfortable buying these kind of products online. I often get commissions from products that are $1000+
- Amazon are kings of getting customers to buy more. If someone clicks through to the Amazon website to buy one and they buy 5 more things, you get commissions on everything.
- It is an evergreen business model. People trust Amazon and will need to buy products online in 5 years time, 10 years time and beyond. If you establish a review site that has authority in a niche then you have built something that will get traffic and commissions for years to come.
