Busy doing nothing?

I've never been someone who can just sit down and work for weeks on one task with total devotion.
I just can't concentrate for that long on a limited field of endeavour.
So while I'm supposed to be putting in effort into building my actual website, putting in content, I also am learning about how to better utilise public domain material, find suitable public domain material on ebay, begin my social networking as a marketing strategy (and the learning curve that comes with being a new twit  and a new facebooker). Oh yes, and I've been exploring Amazon S3, and creating a powerpoint presentation with visuals related to my site.
So I HAVE been busy. It IS all relevant to my ultimate goal.
And I think it WILL contribute to my content creation for my pages.
So, all you IM gurus, don't tell me I'm wasting my time.
Sometimes I think you just push those buttons to simply put urgency into your own messages in order to pump up sales.
I trust myself. I know I will get where I'm headed. I know I have a lot to learn, and damn it, I'm enjoying the learning. I enjoy taking detours.
These detours are valuable because they help me to build up the bigger picture, to fill gaps in my strategies, to open up new directions that I hadn't thought of previously.
So I'm satisfied that I'm making progress. Am I happy? Very.
Am I successful? Yes - because I've started my journey, and haven't abandoned it.
