I am actually just myself, and there is now ay I can be anyone else, and truth is , I don't want to be anyone else except who I am.
Well, Michael, I hear some asking right this minute, that's nice, but what difference does it make to me.
Hard to say, I guess. But here is what I found out along the way of trying to emulate excellent marketers - some of their ideas and plans worked for me, but most did not. It certainly was not their fault, but what happened is that in following their ideas to the minutest detail, I found that my situation was different than the one they were in.
I also found that when I depended on their ideas to work 100 percent for me, without me tweaking them or changing them around a bit or using the ideas combined in a new way, I was bored and unhappy, and I did not make sales.
So now, I use ideas from people, like Bryan, and other folks who I admire, but I make sure that I like the ideas I am going to use.
And I make sure that I am having a good time using them, because I spent a great deal of time doing things I did not want to do, and I defnitely do not want to go back there anymore.
