One Good Reason to Avoid Free Blog Sites
Posted 5th November 2008 at 03:01 PM by Michelle Strait
I started a video game review Blogger blog. I wanted to see how much traffic the topic would generate before getting paid hosting. Most of the posts are game reviews. There are also a few opinion posts.
I signed in today and discovered my blog was gone. The message said it had been marked as spam. I don't know why because I only review games that I own, and I invite feedback from readers. The site will be disabled until a Blogger person reviews it and says it's not spam.
Using free blog sites is dangerous. It gives too much control of your content to someone else. So now I have people following links to a blog that's not there anymore.
This is just a word of caution!
Thanks

If you find our specifically why your blog was targeted as spam by blogger, please let us know. That would be very helpful information.
Best of luck getting reinstated.
