Its been one year (Apr-10) since I joined Warrior Forum and boy has time flown! I must admit I haven't been as active as I could have been and I've only really started logging in regularly since Dec-10.

Let me start from the beginning. The reason why I joined in the first place. I am a devoted wife and mom to 3 beautiful kids and work as an accountant. By choice I work 2 days at home and 2 days in the office for my boss. And yes, my earnings have suffered because I choose to spend time at home with my family.

My youngest child recently started school so I am now able to work longer hours. I work days and my husband works nights so there's always one of us with the kids at all times. This takes some juggling and can cause a bit of tension at home and at work if something unexpected comes up.

A couple of years ago, I decided to look for another career path, one that enabled me to work from home and be my own boss and one that had residual income. I tried network marketing but it didn't work out for me. I didn't like the idea of hassling family and friends just to make a sale. And cold calling was something I couldn't warm to. Yes, I gave it a go and made some sales (mainly family and friends) but I found myself going out to meetings and doing presentations after hours which clashed with family commitments.

Just over a year ago, I decided to look into Internet marketing and so my education began. I started searching online for more info and joined Chris Farrell's membership site. He recommended Warrior Forum as a good place to learn from experienced internet marketers.

So it is that I landed here on this forum one year ago today. I joined as a War Room member and started reading the posts on the forum regularly and getting acquainted with the world of internet marketing.

By the end of the year, I had started to get more serious with IM and began to invest in several programs. My progress has been slow, sporadic at times, but since deciding to buckle down and commit 1-2 hours (minimum) a day to building my IM business, I've started to see real results.

I have a website up that I created from scratch (yay!) and am learning SEO and all that fun stuff. I've finally started my own blog here so that I can get some practice in before I start writing articles to submit online to places like Ezine.

If you do get to read my blog, drop me a comment to let me know how I'm doing thus far. I shall try and keep this updated regularly. Thanks for stopping by.
