Focus - Focus - Focus!

Well now I know what to do as someone who has been in IM for about 4 years now.
1) Focus on no more than 2 things at the same time and "blast" your efforts on just these two things. In my case, I am doing offline consulting and putting up on page sales letters selling non-IM products.
2) Don't get caught up in the money making aspect of your efforts. Believe it or not, if you work hard at the process, the money takes care of itself. In other words don't even make a dollar sales goal first, just dive into the process of internet marketing.
3) When one of your internet marketing efforts starts to make even a trickle of money, then start planning your dollar goal.
4) What has worked for me in getting traffic, is to concentrate on a minimum of 5 ways that I know how to drive traffic. Here is my methods: article submission to article directories, posting craigslist ads on a daily basis with backlinks to my site, putting up documents on my business on Scribd.com with linkbacks, commenting on other blogs, video submissions to youtube and other viral social video sites.
That's it in a nutshell! Why buy all those IM "get rich" programs when I live by doing common sense things that we all should be doing anyway!!
