MLM......Should I Or Shouldn't I?

Mention MLM at a business gathering and you are linkely to get all sorts of responses from favorable to down right nasty. Personally I have always had a dislike of MLM. I don't really know why but probably due to the fact there have been so many scams out there that I usually just tune out when someone mentions MLM.
A friend called the other day and asked me to join a diamond club. For $300 I would get a sapphire and then when I cycle out I would get a diamond and $10k. Not a bad return on my investment of $300. I just couldn't bring myself to do it after I did some research on the company and the owner in particular. A lot of bad press came up about him.
However it did get me thinking about MLM as one avenue of internet marketing. I mean the days of pounding the pavement to get affiliates to sign up under you are a thing of the past so why not use MLM as long as it is a legitimate company.
When presented with an opportunity for a new MLM web based program if figured Why not give it a try and get in on the ground floor before it is even launched. This new program goes live FEB 1st and it has a very low risk with the potential for high rewards. Have a look for yourself and let me know what you think.
