Thoughts on Google's algorithm change.

The way I see it, many autoblogs and article directories will suffer from this change.

From what I've seen, Google is cracking down on sites that don't use unique content, or have content that is poorly written, and is not very useful.

Site 2--improving the mechanics--proofreading

Today I'll be working on the other enterprise. I won't be doing so much with IM today but a few thoughts as I continue to work on Site 2. A checklist is helpful to help not forget the basics just before a page goes final. Keywords in the title of the page, metatag data, with correct urls, and targeted content. In our last post, we talked about what one of my REAL JV partners called "The Indian JV'r," (no disrespect intended to any Native American Indians, I am married to one).

Now, when I first saw the product I was impressed with all that it could do. Upon making some suggestions to him privately, he became defensive. Staunchly insisting the he had already put months of work into it and simply did not want to put 6 more hours into it.

I recently offered to JV with someone whose product I liked. In hindsight, I'm actually glad I didn't promote the product due to some concerns I have about the creators staunch refusal to structure and package it correctly, as it's set up will be confusing and a definite 'information overload' to newbies who would actually benefit the most from it, but we're getting off track.

Syndication Storm! Put Your Blog In Overdrive!

Syndication has been a fundamental part of advertising since print has been in existence. The really nice thing about it is the fact that if you actually provide valuable information, you will brand yourself in the process. I'm not talking about branding yourself like you would cattle, I'm talking about building a reputation as a resource in your industry or niche. I'm referring to your becoming the "go-to" guy for what matters in that industry or niche. Blogging is a great way to do this...
