The very first step for any Online Marketer is to participate in guest blogging. This is when you write posts/articles for other peoples blogs and sites, and in turn you get backlinks to your blog. This is the method I have utilized to grow my subscriber numbers to the 1,000's it is today. I have had great success creating material for others. You can look for guest blogging either by engaging with the site owner of the blogs you are currently reading, or do a search in your search bar for: “niche + “write for us”

2. Quality Discussion Areas:
Forums are a Great way to create a ton of traffic! Look for large forums in your target niche and get involved. *(Your website is NOT the focus). Simply give helpful comments and offer relevant information. Some people right here might ask, "How do I get these people to my blog then?" You can do this in your Signature. This is the closing portion of your article that offers your name, email, and a link to your site. Verify that the forum you are using is cool with signature because some aren't.

3. Active Participation:
This is mostly adding quality comments to other people's material. This method is definitely not the primary way to get tons of visitors to your page, but every little bit makes a difference when added to these other strategies. This method does, however, help you get to know people. If your name pops up on 10-12 other people's commenting system often enough, then you will get noticed by others and get traffic too.

4. Sell Your Material:
Doing various types of article marketing is a tactic I have tapped into to create several forms of residual incomes over the years. I recommend doing guest blogging simply for the fact that it’s much less hassle. However, you might not be to the point were you are comfortable having your blogs in front of 1,000's of eyes. 5. Getting Interviewed:
As your reader base increases, particularly once people realize that your well educated on your discussion topics, people will want to interview you. Tactics like this are usually for experienced writers with and established reader base, but this can be used by newbies if you have a well defined target niche.

6. Video Blogging:
Creating a video blog will help you expand your influence. When I began mine I saw a tremendous response immediately. At this time of writing this there were literally millions of blogs "in contention for attention," but just a measly few hundred thousand video blogs. These numbers obviously differ in each industry. Most people never even start because they give into FEAR! Expanding your comfort zone is the only way to grow personally, plus this works to get visitors to your site.

7. Video Tutorials:
The next step from video blogging is video tutorials. No one even needs to see your face to do this! Using a screen recording program like Camtasia or Screencast-O-Matic you can share your powerpoint presentations or simple slide shows of photos. This feature can also be integrated with your video blogs to help keep people's interest by throwing in a cool picture or shocking statement in text up on the screen at strategic points.

8. Giveaways:
A simple yet effective way to increase your traffic is to give away FREE information in a course. That's right, a course that you don't charge any money for. This material should be based around a keyword that you can get ranked with. Be sure to include this keyword in the heading of your material. When people find your material through a search and click on it then your stuff will stay at the top of the rankings. This can only be done with material that is good enough for others to want to share on their own.

9. Good SEO:
We have to remember the power of Good SEO. This means incorporating this on your page as well as everywhere else. Target keywords specific to your niche. Choose ones that you can rank for with your blogs, video blogs, and tutorials. There have been a lot of changes in the major search engines, but this doesn't mean the end of SEO. They simply want to rank the best content so if yours it good it will rank high. Also, be sure to keep it simple for the search engines. Relevant keywords for your industry will keep you getting recognized.

10. Work Your A$$ Off!
Most people look for quick-fix strategies when it comes to generating more traffic to their website or blog. If have found one thing to be true more than any other tip...
...you can't get anywhere without real work! The harder you work the bigger your visitor numbers are going to be. I am a visible example of this. The newest/hottest "Trick" never seems to work. The "trick" is that you have to grow your business over time. Because I have done this, I am now the one controlling my life and enjoying my time actually doing the things I enjoy.

Trying to skip the actual step of "real work" by searching for the one "Secret" to earning money effortlessly will always end in disappointment. Only when you are using all of the methods listed above, (most of them daily), will you begin reaping the rewards in your subscriber number, traffic, and sales conversions. A major topic that I left out is Social Networking. Mostly because it is a whole other ball of wax. However, lots of my material has been shared viral1y around the internet without this measure.
