SPAM OR HAM? -

Whether or not you realize it, you've been marketing yourself your whole life. When you were a baby, you learned how to get what you wanted by exhibiting certain behaviors. Then you started learning how to talk as a toddler and got better at it.


Then you started kindergarten and learned what it meant to be accepted by your peers and quickly assimilated (as best you could anyway as nothing but a little bundle of untapped emotional energy)....

I have been experimenting lately and I wanted to share something I have tried on my blog. I now require anyone who comments on my blog to sign up for my newsletter. I did this because of the sheer magnitude of spam comments I have been receiving lately. I found myself spending the majority of my comment review time removing bogus comments vomited onto my blog by bots and other types of software. This was even after my spam protection services filtered out three quarters of the spam comments to begin...

Forum reply spam

At any large forum there is often a large amount of forum reply spam. In other words members will post meaningless or nearly meaningless replies in an effort to do one of the following:

1) Get their signature file noticed.
2) Get their post count up to increase their forum benefits (i.e. some forums require that you post a certain number of times before you can have a signature line).

How to present your business...

That sounds silly doesn't it? Why would I have to learn how to present my business opportunity to others? I just sign up and start posting right?

It would seem on the surface to be that easy, but I see a lot of people have a real hard time...

Over time online communities such as this one create a very tight community. Everyone learns the rules and looks out for each other...

That's the first thing... Read the rules....

The Smart Spammers

This spam is very annoying as the spammer (and recently a long term Warrior member) has a false sense of security thinking we can't spot it. Basically they start a thread with a basic statement or challenge revealing a few tips on how to accomplish whatever.
