Ok guys, as mentioned in a previous blog post, I have 2 neat products ready to be launched in 2013 that will absolutely change the way you do keyword and LSI research.

So today I am going to talk about Keyword Selection. That is, after you are done researching your keywords, which are the ones you should start writing articles about?

The #1 Rule is This:

Almost any keyword phrase can be successful as long as you can add value to the topic.

That is probably against what you have been reading on forums, blogs, etc. You have been constantly taught that keyword research and selection goes hand in hand with $XXX tools and data and analysis and so on.
But the truth is, with all the Google algorithm changes, updates, and so on, it's totally impossible nowadays to predict how successful a keyword will be.

It's totally OK to choose keywords based on CPC, search volume, adsense ads and any other metrics, but sometimes it may be even better choosing a keyword using common sense.
If you see a keyword in your list and think: "Hey, I could definitely write on that topic" then go ahead and do it.
That's it for today. More on that later.
