One of the oldest and most effective ways of tapping the power of unique content is through the power of syndication. If you write unique content or articles, then you have the assets necessary to drive traffic to your website.
Before we begin to discuss syndication, we have to point out that unique content will draw traffic on its own even before it it is syndicated. As search engines crawl the web and look for new content to serve, original content easily finds its way into the search results with little to no search engine optimization or backlinking. For this reason, it is always best to start with original content.
Once you have original content, the easiest way to have it crawled and indexed on a regular basis by posting it to your own blog first which is always the best thing to do and then ping Google and Bing (which now handles YAHOO search as of the date of the writing of this article). Additionally, you can submit bookmarks to social bookmarking services and speed up this process.
After your content is indexed you will want to begin syndicating it. The first way to syndicate you content would be to release it as an RSS feed. RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication and that is exactly what it is, the simplest way you can syndicate content. The reason is because it is done automatically. Once your RSS feed is set up, then you will want to submit it to RSS directories that will help you syndicate it.....
