This article is a comprehensive review of the techniques used by the WordPress SEOPressor plugin. If you are not familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), basically, it is the optimizing of the content on your web pages so as to maximize it relevancy with respect to certain targeted keywords in the eyes of search engines. A well optimized web page has the potential to rank higher in search results than a page that is poorly optimized. What is involved in SEO? Several factors such as the keywords targeted, their density in the page copy, where and which tags they appear in to name a few. The SEOPressor plugin claims to automatically help you cover all of these bases so as to maximize your relevancy which, in turn, potentially maximizes your web traffic.

What exactly does the SEOPressor plugin do? Basically, it monitors your blog post and tracks all of the factors that influence your SEO such as the ones mentioned previously. In short, this plugin assigns a quality score or sorts to each post giving it a score between zero and one hundred. It does this by carefully analyzing several things.

To begin, it analyzes the title tags such as your header tags to make sure that the appropriate keywords are in place. It next check the density of your keywords of interest so as to optimize their level of recurrence. Additionally, it will check the placement of these keywords to ensure optimal placement. Personally, placement doesn't concern me that much as long as they are in the appropriate places such as the titles, headers and copy. It then analyzes your links and images as well as their ALT tags to make sure that the proper keywords appear.

Once all of these factors have been reviewed by the SEOPressor, it then produces a report that assigns a quality score of sorts to your blog post. Some claim that this is very similar to the methodology used by search engines to assign an initial quality value to your web page.

Missing items can be reviewed and corrected by yourself, once they are identified by the plugin.

The more I write articles, the more I realize how important on-page SEO is. I have found that getting all of my on-page SEO factors straight when I write the articles is most important because as many times as I tell myself that I will go back and correct any SEO shortcomings with respect to an article, I never do. The SEOPressor plugin is the only plugin that I have found that actively monitors each and every post like and SEO editor. This, in itself, has much more value than I initially realized. These days, so much focus is put on off-page SEO, meaning gaining backlinks, that the very important on-page SEO is often neglected when it is just as important.

If you are an affiliate marketer, SEO and the ranking of your articles and posts are your bread and butter. If you are like me, on-page SEO factors such as ALT tags on pictures and links can easily slip through the cracks and often do. This plugin guarantees that this is not something that will happen to you.
