The DoFollow Blog Commenting Primer

Are you new to SEO? Do you need backlinks? One way you can get them is to comment on blogs that link out. These days many blogs link out, but not all link out without applying the nofollow attribute. Once the nofollow attribute is applied to your link, it no longer passes on the trust and reputation necessary for your website. Once the nofollow attribute is applied, the link is only good for indexing your website or page and click thru traffic that is browsing the blog.
The trick to benefiting from blog commenting as an SEO strategy is to find blogs that have not applied the nofollow attribute and that have moderators checking the comments manually. Comments that are auto-approved by the blog will be spammed relentlessly by spammers and any value that your link may contain will quickly and ruthlessly be diluted to a valueless state. So how can one find blogs that do not have the nofollow attribute applied? Simple. Use Google and search for the following: http://thebitbot.com/2010/12/the-dof...enting-primer/
