Forum Blog Stats Not Working

I was just checking out the blog statistics available in the Warrior user control panel (the weather is bad, I'm indoor and a little bored), and comparing them to the number of visitors each blog entry reports.
They should match.
They don't, not even close.
It appears that basically nothing is getting recorded in the blog statistics, even though the forum software is reporting various Warriors who have visited the blog.
That does include 'guests' or those not logged in.
Bottom line: I'm ignoring the blog statistics report.
