Phone call conversion through Call Extensions
 

Hello everyone,

I just need some help about my phone call conversion using the call extension.

I set up a phone call conversion through call extensions and I am not using a Google forwarding number just my own phone number. My question is, is it possible to see conversions with this kind of set up?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Should already be able to do this within adwords no?

1. 'Campaigns' or 'Ad groups' tab, click 'Segment' above the statistics table.
2. Select 'Click type' for website of phone calls clicks.
3. find "Mobile clicks-to-call" to determine phone # clicks

If you have the volume that warrants using the Google forwarding number I would seriously consider that option.

You can then get actual reports on what the specific search queries were that lead to the call....

this is valuable data.

That would be yes. if you are not using the Google number.. you simply cant track the people that pick pa land line and call.

Another thing you can try here is to match the time of call received with the time of clicks (Use Hour of the day report to get clicks break-down by time).

Still not very accurate and also tedious method, but does the job.

The best option for you apart from using the Google forwarding number is to show a number only for adwords, AND only for click to call. Don't use it anywhere else if possible.
