Need more Customers
 

Hi guys


I just started a new food service and have been having trouble getting more customers. I've done some advertising and nothing seems to be working. I'm not quite sure were I'm going wrong. Is my content on my site not interesting ? the website url is GuruVegan.com any suggestions on my problem would be greatly appreciated.

what kind of advertising you have done so far?

That will help in figuring out /narrow downing the issue.

Your site has a nice and clean look to it. Good job with that, but honestly I think your site could use some work from a conversion aspect.

A few quick tips/concerns:

1. I'm assuming this is a local thing? I know of places in my city that do this, but your website doesn't address it. If not you should probably explain the process a little better.

2. You are essentially asking someone to sign up without giving them too much information about your products/services. If I were shopping at your website I'd like to know what is on the menu this week? How do I get it? How many choices do I get? How fresh is everything?

I think you need to address these things before you ask someone to sign up or to be a customer.

3. I really like the images of the food on the homepage. I'd incorporate more of that! Get people excited!

big words on your home page.

Clarity trumps cleverness or overt persuasion.

I agree with Ewen. You don't clearly state your value proposition. That should define clearly exactly what they need to know about you in one simple sentence. If you do that the rest of it all becomes just tweaks. I had to dig around your site just to understand what you are doing and I still don't 100% understand. Average customers won't dig around. They will leave.

If you don't clearly let them know in the first paragraph or preferably first sentence of the site then you will lose them.

Do On page SEO and add some content in pages and make website SEO friendly. Add proper image alt tags.
Do social media optimization with attractive menu or food image.
Show the users how you are different and your food offers.

For a site that tries to position itself as a one stop store for vegans, selling meat is a bit strange. Think about it. Lack of congruence is sometimes more important than anything else you may say or do.

hey. please wait patiently, putting a site that is new is not easy for you to get the rank in the top position, and now what you should do is to post some interesting news on different site, and let more people know your site, so i think that learning seo knowledge will be useful to you, of course, i am a newbie too, i just want to share my experience to you, also wish you can share some for me, by the way, if you need some related tools, you can go to whitehatbox to find some tools

Things needs to be added in your website are:
-There should be an attractive homepage in your website.
-Footer of your website is not designed properly. It needs proper designing.
-Contact number and address can be mentioned in contact us page.
