Do you know what the response rate was from the magazine ad to the squeeze page?

I know the optin rate was 68% once the users came to squeeze page but that's not what I am asking.

I am asking what the response rate was from the magazine ad to the website initially.

        EXAMPLE:

Magazine X has a circulation of 500,000 and an ad was placed in the magazine driving
people to an online squeeze page. The response rate from the magazine to driving the people online was .002% hence 1,000 people responded to the ad and made it to the squeeze page.

Then 65% opt'd in from the 1,000 people responding to the ad and coming online to the squeeze page.

          Gotcha.

          Don't know those numbers.

Perfect example of "Right Message" in the "Right Media" for the target audience and couple that with an "EASY" way to act.

You'd expect a high response rate.

Love some of the subtleties like including statistics and the caption on the photo...remember captions get high readership...some power words in there.

Thanks Ewen...I'll leave it to others to provide their complete analysis.

    Thanks Ewen.

I love the tidbits you put up from time to time. In fact, I am using one of your past ones right now in a new piece, and I already know how I am going to use this one as well.

Jack, I'm curious as what the tidbit I gave and how you are using it.

Plus what application you see this latest example used for.

      Thanks,

        Sure...

        For a B2B SaaS service...

I am redesigning my trade show display now, and utilizing the tip where you add an "s" to the verb in the headline so the message reads that I am doing the work for you, instead of helping you do it for yourself. It is such a simple, yet powerful adjustment. And still 100% true.

And this one is going right at the end of my funnel as is. I have a "Request Agreement" link on my site that drops people into a funnel that sends a handful of messages over a couple of months if they don't sign the agreement right away. The messages automatically are stopped once they sign the contract. It is all automated with digital signing, and integrated into Infusionsoft. Now, around 90 days after the last message, the one that says "goodbye, I won't bother you anymore", I will be adding this one to see if I can agitate any new responses from people.

        Good stuff. Thanks again!
