I just built a squeeze page that offers a free ebook, after submitting the email there's a thank you page, what's the best option to maximize the profit from the following options ? 1 - Squeeze Page -> Thank You Page (Short Sales Page of the Affiliate Product) -> Directly to the Order Form 2 - Squeeze Page -> Thank You Page (Affiliate Link) 3 - Squeeze Page -> Thank You Page (Short Sales Page of the Affiliate Product) -> Seller's Sales Page Which option can get the highest conversion rate ?! Any suggestions please, any better ideas, I'm just a newbie seeking for help ! Thanks in advance. |

I've experimented with all three. Every time I put a sales page (or embedded sales video) on my thank you page, my unsubscribe rate shot WAY up. It also never converted well. More people unsubscribed during that month of testing than in the past year. I even opened with a nice "Thank you!" title and a paragraph thanking them for subscribing before transitioning into various forms of sales copy. A subtle affiliate link on the TY page is all I have been able to get away with and not have massively higher unsubscription rates. |

2 - Squeeze Page -> Thank You Page (Affiliate Link) This is least irritating to subscriber. |

It can be different for your traffic sources. Thing to do is split test and run some numbers to see what is happening. People can give you suggestions and ideas but in the end its up to you for what is working.

I use this model, and i like this one the best. Just make sure to tell them that their ebook or freebie is in their inbox, and then redirect them to the sales page. Then use email marketing to further sell them on affiliate offer.

bridge page, bridge page, bridge page. .... we are doing well with that right now. Conversion rates are dropping a little, but they are working well. |

Most our campaigns are failures first, the secret is never give up and always keep testing, every day.

What about insert your affiliate link in your newsletters / short courses? Give some great content to your subscribers in your newsletters FIRST, then promote an affiliate offer right before the end of your newsletter. |

I would go a total different direction. I would create a report that presells the affiliate product that you want to promote. To be clear...This report should not just promote your affiliate product. Instead...Create a report on how to do something then add your affiliate link for a product that will help them do it better or help them do it faster. This will allow you to presell the affiliate product while delivering quality content to your subscriber. You can then use your thank you page to promote free cpa offers or pay per lead offers. |

Hi, First of all I would appreciate if this model works but here I am really sorry to say that my opinion is bit different and I would say don't have any affiliate or any sales link on the thank you page. Because when they subscribe to your free Ebook they are not in the mentality to buy something. Or you can they are not prepared for buying something from you. At this point they are only in the mentality of having free stuff that you provide in exchange of email and they think this stuff will be helpful or valuable for them or not? They are bit skeptical at this point. They opt in for just to check out what you have in your free stuff. Hope so you are getting what I mean. Now what should by at this point in my opinion, on your thank you page have download link of your free stuff for which they opted in to your offer as well as in your email link. Just give them what they opted in for. And from here build relationship with them by sending full of valuable email or stuff for absolutely free. Just solve their problem step-by-step by sending email on alternate days basis with full of content having valuable information and solution to their problem. This we call positive expectancy. By giving valuable information, stuff for free it reduce the distance between you and your subscriber. Your subscriber start trusting on you thinking that you provide value and also start thinking that really you are the person who can really solve their problem. And now at the backend after your 4/5 full of valuable email you can redirect them to your affiliated product or any other sales page. Because at this point they have trust/faith on you and you have also built relationship with them. They will buy from you whatever you offer with happy face whether its in short term or long term till you provide value with solid product. They will never think that you are offering or selling something to them. Actually nobody wants to be sold. Nobody wants to be market. Sell them without selling. Market them without marketing. Right! Really this approach works for long term rather than selling someone at the entry point. The idea of having Thank you page with affiliate link or link to sale page works only when unless and until your subscriber is very much hyper, frustrated with his problem. Hope so this will help somewhere. |

results depend by lot of things..... so you need to test in order to get data back. I have a squeeze that is pretty simple, but it has a 58% - 62% conversion rate |

Provide value and THEN try to pitch products. Nobody trusts you when they first subscribe. It's a terrible time to introduce a sales page -- it only sets you back in the cycle. When you provide some value first, you'll see much better conversion rates (and less people will unsubscribe).

Think of it this way. The thank you page is the only page that every new subscriber will see and you want to make the best of it. It really depends on your traffic source. For example, I use solo ads and it's an extremely "noisy" traffic source. They get the "drill" - they optin and they get an email with the free gift so there's no need to explain to them. After optin I immediately redirect them to a thank you page. For a blog, on the other hand - you have their attention and you can introduce yourself, get them to follow you on Facebook, etc... and soft sell an affiliate offer. Nobody would do that with solo ads. |
