i have started a website 2 months about weight loss niche.
i need methods to increase traffic toward my website.

i use facebook and google page. i get about 25 visitor a day.

Use Twitter. Post your site regularly on twitter. I have a blog site and that's what I'm doing. Just be sure that your twitter account is set to public. That's really helpful. In just a span of minute you can see that you're gaining more traffics.

I agree with Hootsuite. You can add Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and now even YouTube for automated posts.

The thing about increasing the traffic is that you just need to have some good promotion done. Now you can access the power of social media or make a name for your site through personal networks. I won't get into it as you already have some great answers here.

I'd tell you about email marketing. This one is the most preferred mode of communication and the one that many use to retain the traffic. This may be a bit too early, but let your audience know about your expertise through some really good newsletters that you can prepare and send to them. This will keep them engaged, provide some value to them and also keep them hooked to your website. There are many tools out there that will help you in this. Tools like OptinMonster, ConvertPlug, ExitIntent tool etc. can really hook your potential customers/ visitors to your site and provide you a chance to make them a regular visitor. Try using them and grow your email subscribers. This will not only bring you new guys, but also help you in retaining them.

These are great suggestions on attracting traffic but here are a few tips on converting your visitors. Besides whats the point of high traffic if none of your visitors are taking action?

You can create a goal that you want to achieve such as collecting emails or getting visitors to engage with your social media platforms etc. Then create a call to action that has an eye catching button consistent with your website. Orient gaze/use arrows and use power words to encourage your visitor to engage with your CTA. You can A/B test your CTA variations to see what converts the best!

In the weight loss niche i'd be very inclined to try dominate youtube!

small video tips about different topics will help drive some serious buyers in due time.

You've gotta stick with it tho. Remember that Google owns Youtube. Google loves content.

So blog! 2 or 3 times a week. Daily if you can. But more important to be consistent.

What ever you blog about vlog about. Put small videos based on those topics also. And share them on facebook, google +, & youtube.

In fact if you put it on youtube theres a 1 click option to share on fb & g+ anyway so theres extra traffic.

If you are willing to spend some money on paid add you can get better audience. You can do some google display ads as well search ads. In display ads please concentrate the famous blogs and article sites which deal with weight loose and health tips. only thing is that you should find which is best. This will give good audience and increase your brand awareness. You can also go for search ad concentrate the peoples how are searching for weight loose and health tips related to weight loose. if you are doing an area based business also please concentrate your area. Social Media is the best way to get in touch with your niche bloggers. You can share your ideas and query in various groups and you can build a strong relation with another blogger.

You can also do guest posting, blog commenting on your niche blog, expert interview etc. for traffic.

Lots of ways are there to increase traffic in any website. Some excellent ways to bring traffic are social media advertising, paid search, display advertising, SEO, guest blogging, email advertising. Promote your content in social sites like twitter, fb, instragram, google+, pinterest. Twitter is ideal for short, snappy (and tempting) links, whereas Google+ promotion can help your site show up in personalized search results.

1.social bookmarking
2.pdf sharing
3.image sharing
3.web 2.0 link building
4.geuest posting etc

This method helps me to increase visitor.
