Struggling with Conversion I need your views and help on how I can increase the conversion rate on my website and drive sales. This is my website: www.nabaleka.com I have done everything regarding SEO (Switched to HTTPS, boosted page speed, mobile responsiveness, built backlinks) and now my website is ranking on the first page of Google for my target keywords. The only challenge is that I get one or two emails a day. Where do the rest of the traffic go? Please look at my website and give me a review of what I can do or change to start making lots of sales for my services. |
Re: Struggling with Conversion Well, first congratulations on achieving top results in Google. Hopefully you've targeted the right keywords. My initial response to your site is that it looks like it was designed by a designer for a designer. I don't see much in the way of communicating the benefits to your client. I was going to add.... You need a strong Call to Action. Your current one offers zero value or incentive. You're basically saying, "Give me your contact info so I can sell you something, even though you don't know me and I haven't demonstrated any value to you at this point." Instead, try putting together a high value report, or offer some sort of assessment/evaluation that is worth $197.00 that they get for FREE. You have a nice looking site, but I think your copy is not written to appeal to your prospects. Focus hard on getting the opt-in. Then you can start a conversation with them and pitch them after you've provided them something of value. |
Re: Struggling with Conversion I personally am not so sure about the need for a "Report" if they are searching your services, they will request it.. a "report" probably will not increase your conversion - well let me re-phrase that, it may get you more email address', but probably not more potential clients. the 2 most glaring things I see is the lack of benefits.. why would I choose you? and the headline ( call to action ) for your opt-in box "Get web Design Quote". with a "Select Services" option, shouldn't the headline be a bit more universal? say "Request further information" or something like that. Kind of what you want to do is answer some key questions. WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN and WHY. Who are you, What do you do, Where are you and the area you may service, When ( you have answered with the hours at the top. - I might suggest inserting your UTC +3 ) and Why do you do this, and Why they should select you. |

Re: Struggling with Conversion Quote:
For example, when I first started offering consulting services to local businesses, SEO was pretty hot and a lot of marketers were hawking huge setup costs with recurring fees. So I used a free guide (aka, report) on how to avoid getting scammed by "so-called SEO marketers" by doing their own SEO. I showed them how easily they could do it themselves. I did this for 3 reasons:
Hope that clarifies a bit! |
