Hello Welcome to a new forum on conversion optimization. Here we'll start a new section discussing strategies for converting traffic into customers better. Topics will include, but not be limited to: * Conversion rate optimization * Funnel optimization * A/B testing and other multivariate content experiments * Landing page optimization etc. I'll be posting a few resources to get the section going. Ok so what's the go to conversion optimization list? I found Annie Cushing's list for seo, and Jon Cooper's list for link-building is there a conversion optimization equivalent? |

There are many tips out there such as having an effective call to action above the fold, incentivizing your website visitor to sign up, using a button color that stands out etc. The importance of A/B testing is also known because simple color or font changes can lead to an increase in conversion. However, the most effective method of converting a visitor is to appeal to them psychologically. Personalize your content, segment your traffic and understand them. Get them to make a small commitment initially and build that trust factor to encourage a bigger commitment in the future. |
