Probably not the best person to give advice here, (I'm in a similar situation, thousands of views and terrible conversion rates). But here is my 2 cents. 1.) Put the register button so it is immediately visible. IE. your traffic should NOT have to scroll down to see the call to action. 2.) The bold block "Photography-Adventure.com ... just like you" is a little long. |

lets look at what we see when we click on the page. You site name, some navigation. the word "EARN" and buddhas face. What does ANY of this have to do with signing someone up? You need a landing page... NO navigation. NO the word "EARN" you NEED to draw them in and close the deal. What are you getting them to sign up for? Have you matched messages between what is getting them there and once they are there? Lets use our messages as an example: Teach Photography Online Use your skill and images to earn passive income from home. 5 quick points of how this will happen on your site ( you don't have examples I can use to show you. ) 1.......... s 2.......... I u b 3.......... g p o 4.......... n x 5 Now below this follow examples of other sign up pages you might have seen.. In your case you have 3 points of information. so I nice simple 3 column layout with an image or icon at top, and the text Earn income from your photos | Easily promote your work | Help others acquire new skills Easy on the eye, easy to read. You have already implemented your call to action above the fold. Nice nice nice, and a good base to work with. I might working on your headline. they are not calling out and saying click me ( which in this case has been in your favor, because if you did have a solid headline, you would have lost your tail in PPC. How about something like Focus - Click - Profit or Profit from Photography. Keep in mind as well that you want a SEPERATE landing page for each of your click threws Makes it much easier to figure out which one may be working better. This also allows you to MATCH the message that brought them there to the message on the site. you really need to do some reading ConversionXL and or Rich-Page.com. Both of these guys happen to also be reading this forum. So if you have some basic questions, I am more than sure they might help! If you need some help with the coding to drop all of the nav out of your page or setting up a column set up by all means contact me I will help you out! Hope that Helps! |

Your landing page is missing major elements that people respond to and you need to split test by using more than one landing page. Text ads are good but you should also try banner ads. I suggest and recommend taking a look at the landing pages used by successful businesses in your niche and also try incentivizing. Provide a reason for people to feel rewarded for registering. Also remember that just because you make a landing page and run an ad campaign that it will be successful without the things needed for the ad campaign to be successful. Not everything will convert how you desire. If you need some further recommendations let me know.

Thanks to both for responding on this, I am so appreciative of you spending time to answer. Just one quick question for savidge4 - you mention the 5 examples, do you mean something like: 1. Select a few favourite images from your collection 2. Write a brief guide of how you created the image 3. Incorporate details of the location, conditions and camera settings 4. Post your lesson to Photography-Adventure.com 5. Use our social integration to promote your lessons I REALLY like Focus - Click - Profit and thanks for the links, will check them out right now. |

IMO, a catchy sales video might help too ... as a landing page it's somewhat confusing, there's no real "direct" attention grabbing elements. Think of it as a literal funnel.. you want them to go in one end, but you need to direct their attention to exactly where you want it.. think of it from their point of view... it sounded interesting to them, you hooked them, had their attention, and the next page, is somewhat of a let down from that excitement. Once you get them interested enough to click, you want to send them somewhere that is going to keep that interest at it's current level, or increase the interest to keep them engaged. You have a lot going on on that page; IMO if you're sending leads somewhere you want to control everything ... what they see immediately, what they can and cannot click on... on that page there are so many options to click, so many things for the eye to scan over, and the image on the page is cut off therefore losing the attention grabbing element it should have [at least with my screen resolution] in a sense it's information or choice overload the minute they get there. It's like being offered a job in a grocery store, but they never tell you what department you work in or which direction to go in... like offering them a way to earn money with photos and then bringing them to a page that doesn't necessarily carry that momentum with it. Maybe initially some proof / testimonials, .. stats or numbers, realistic expectations. to me, I'm not sure what's going on when I get to the page, ... is it an ebook? what exactly am I joining? is it a class, something I can download... do you teach it .. is it a live class? I mean you're saying "a lot" about it ... but not showing the "how" .. I'm asking myself .. Okay .. how is this possible? Frank Kern teaches a few things that could help you .. convertbook.frankkern dot com/makesalesfast/ Because you have potential clients who (A) Have Photos or Take Photos and they're curious about making money doing that. You could easily create 5 short and sweet little money magnets to build good-will that teach them with no fluff how to go from (A) Pictures to (Z) Making Money with said pictures... I don't know just some ideas.. I feel like I'm rambling now. Either way, you're doing great.. keep it up! MAKE SOME MONEY! ![]() |

Ryan, the Question you want to answer with the 5 points: Teach Photography Online Use your skill and images to earn passive income from home. HOW will YOUR site do this for me? 1 2 3 4 Get seen with our Social Integration tool. 5 There is HOPE. you did finally give up one aspect of your site. This I am guessing would be a point for wanting to make money with Photographs as well as making money teaching. YOUR SITE has "Social Integration" ( so you have your basic built in traffic generator ) You have actually laid out a very good format for a video you could use on your page. the steps to using your product / service /site. You could probably even create a animated gif showing these steps. 1. Select a few favourite images from your collection 2. Write a brief guide of how you created the image 3. Incorporate details of the location, conditions and camera settings 4. Post your lesson to Photography-Adventure.com 5. Use our social integration to promote your lessons

Ok this is a kinda WOW moment for me, thanks for your encouragement guys. I wanted to post this as it might be helpful to other members. The biggest problem is when you land on the page the first thing you see is a giant buddha picture. That right there would be enough to make me click away. Wait a second... the picture has nothing to do with your website! Get that out of there, put something relevant. And put it in smaller. On the side of the text, or something. Anyway, you need an attention grabber headline. A big one, that makes people want to read more. The first "headline" is too small, but the content is good. Shorten that up, put the most important points at the top in big letters, and put the rest under it. I actually like the headings that spit your paragraphs. They're pretty good. Keep those. Just make sure to make everything BIGGER. Except Buddha. Keep him out of this. |

The copy on your page is, not to put too fine a point on it Ryan, a right load of crap. It reads awkwardly, the message you are trying to convey is confusing, and worse, you're babbling non-sense. This is screaming amateur in it's present state. In short, nobody in their right mind with an interest in photography is going to sign up for this. Why not? Because you don't know what the specific pain points are of your target market (yet). How come? Because you obviously haven't researched what it is your target market is looking for as a solution to a problem experienced. Directly related to this, because you've not carried this research out (if you had the copy would be a lot different than it is now) you would be emotionally bridging this gap with clearly defined benefits which talk the same language as the conversation taking place directly inside the mind of your potential audience. Stop with the babble, there is no need to go overboard to confuse your website visitors. Simply enter their conversation taking shape inside their mind (not your mind) and do ensure you promise a big benefit straight up front (which will keep the visitor on the page and reading the next line down all the way down to your direct call to action). Seriously, your copy is about as emotionally engaging as a bucket load of armpits at the moment. - Mark Andrews |

Ryan, Your getting there you need to push a bit more. Again, you have revealed yet a bit more. You have to keep in mind you want to provide enough information for a user to WANT or NEED to click to sign up. You don't have to ell a life story which will only confuse them. So like I said you have revealed a bit more. you have a built in payment system, you have built in "Easy Article Tool", you have the social integration tool. So on your landing page. you are going to have a headline. you are going to have a tag line. ( Again these need to be connected to the terms that were used in the ad that got them here. From this point you need to make your point WHY this person should sign up. 1. Built in Social Media Tools 2. Integrated Payment gateway 3. Total Tutorial Template ( Create Lessons quickly and easily ) 4. Built In "Easy Article Tool" 5. Image Portfolio and Lesson Posting are always free Or something to that effect. Bullet points simple and easy to read. Gives the reader enough information to want to click the sign up to see more. Here is anther way to look at this. there are 2 types of information. There is Concept type information, and then there is detailed type information. At this point in the presentation, you just want to share "Concept" type information. Once they click, THEN you can be more specific with the "Detail" type information. Hope that Helps! |

Hey Guys, So you can see the output of your assistance this is where I am up to now: Teach Photography and Sell Photographs Online | Photography AdventurePhotography Adventure I have the bit at the top which contains everything (I hope) the user should need to sign up but not sure if I should reduce the volume of text in the bullets. I have tried to incorporate features and benefits but think it might be a bit OTT. Also I have kept the longer descriptive stuff below, so if they are not convinced enough to sign up after reading the top bit, then hopefully they will be more convinced after reading a bit further. Again, not sure if that is necessary. I may well split test different versions to see. Once again, thanks for your help on this, I have come a long way! |

I'm not surprised that you're receiving no opt-ins. Your REVISED sales page STILL looks amateurish. Here's why... 1) Your sales copy is inadequate. At a minimum, you need to CLEARLY explain what it is, what it will do for them, provide proof it works, and then have a strong call to action. Your copy doesn't do that. 2) Your page layout is poor. Your header uses a different style graphic for each of the 3 words. Furthermore, drop-shadows should be subtle. As a result, the graphic does not look professional. Your page also uses too many colors: orange, green, purple, blue. It's a mess. Pick a simple color scheme and stick to it. Finally, your freebie is buried halfway down the page. Instead, it should be featured near (or inside) the first opt-in form. 3) You have THREE opt-in forms... ... but you only need ONE. Do you really think they are going to somehow overlook the first one? Or the first TWO? You can't force your visitors to opt-in by shoving multiple forms in their face. You've got to make them WANT to opt-in. You do that with great sales copy, clean design, and a freebie they want. That's it. That's all you need. Right now, you're missing (at least) the first two. guys, I'm going to have another bash at tweaking the page this weekend to incorporate some of your suggestions and create a/b test options, however, with the suggestions you made so far I went from zero conversions to 5.75% over a similar sample of traffic. These are only sign up conversions, rather than sales, so I am wondering what percentage you guys would expect when running a well optimised landing page? Thanks |

I personally look for 3% as a good "starting point" Meaning once you are in that area you can start working the individual elements of the page to increase the conversion rate. Congrats on the hard work and the new results! Just keep at it!

Personal experience and recent research showed me that huge slideshows at the top of the page doesnt work. It looks good but is a huge fad created by website template designers because it looks really cool. I lost traffic because of it personally. I stay away from it and put my call to action in its place. The articles i have read say people skip over that stuff because it looks like an advertisement. Companies such as Best Buy have actually gotten rid of their slideshows. Best Buy: Experience the Ultimate Showroom (instead it is their current sale) Taking a step back and really seeing the cleanest dumbest road for your users to travel is the best. I know i personally get bogged down in the design and cool functions of a site. Example. The sites i have built for myself look 1,00000% better than any site I have built for my boss, yet she has 40,000 users (took 6 years to get that) and a newsletter subscription of 20,000+ Her sites are dumb, ugly and full of text. I'm not saying make an ugly site =-) but what she has that i do not is such a dumb site that the path to successful conversions is much simpler and straightforward compared to my flashy sites. Basically text on the front page telling users what the new product is, and what the sale for the week is. Click a button and you get a list of all items for sale. Basically the flow for her sites (that i have built =-) are: Front page --> Sale/new items --> product page (with samples) --> Buy Button --> Checkout. |

How much money you spent on ads ? PPC and photography verticals can make huge hole in your pocket and you want to make sure atleast the landing page design is good. I honestly feels you can get much better landing page template for free. Also remove those social sharing icons, no one will share a landing page on social media about earning money online unless they get certain incentive. I may be able to help you in getting a good landing page for free or at least can help you in having a better LP ![]() |

I didn't personally like it. As someone random who mightve clicked your semi relevant advertisement I left within 15sec. I saw some thing that said earn money taking pictures and for some reason even tho I use iPhone went , I don't have a camera. I hope this helps you.

you may want to remove the first name field and just ask for their email address and make your opt in box stand out more - preferably change the colour of it to yellow or gold.

Well - look, the design and copy on that page looks very amateurish. Do some googling and find examples of effective landing pages. You'll see heaps on unbounce or conversionxl Next, head over to themeforest and buy yourself a landing page template that looks clean and professional, or wireframe one up yourself and get someone on fiverr, elance or odesk to code it for you. Make sure there is a big fat call to action button on the page above the fold that says "Sign Up" or "Get Started For Free" etc. So people know what they need to do next. |

There is a massive disconnect between your headline (+ sub headline) and the book you are asking people to give you their names for. I would say focus on selling your free ebook (how to sell photographs online...) alone, on that landing page. So you need 2 pages Lead gen page to give away your free book and A sales page to sell your main product. Good luck Peekay |
