Banner Style Conversions

Hey warriors,

I'm going to have some banners created for affiliates to use when promoting my offers and I was wondering what type/style of banners convert the best?

Is your experience do text style banners convert better than the type of banners that match your product ecover?

Please share your experiences as I'd love to hear them and I'm sure lots of other warriors would also.

Thanks

Craig

Craig, check out 250+ the motley fool ads - Moat Ad Search.

There you'll see patterns from big spending banner
advertisers.

The one I linked to is a company known for
strong testing and measuring.

Best,
Ewen

GIF/Flash banners work well for me, IE the ones that flash and draw attention. I think with banners you can only hope for a good CTR, as I'm sure the quality of a banner does not effect how the product converts once the visitor is on the sales page.

Unless of course the banner was making outlandish claims.

Hi Ewen,

Those examples have a lot of text in them. do you think they would with IMers as the target market?

I've seen some with just a good strong headline and a few words underneath but I can't find them again.
