What has Hollywood got to do with good storytelling?

If it wasn't for Phillip K. Dick, the entire Hollywood sci-fi franchise would have been one long effects showreel. ...And he died decades ago.

I literally nodded off during that interview. Then I shut it off. Almost a example of what not to do and what is wrong.

I don't think the interview was too bad though, it had some good information on the mechanics of storytelling. Appreciate the links fellas

  If you go to Vin Montello's Clambake site, you'll find another free interview with him, "The Storyteller Seller" from last winter. It was a huge one for me.
