How do you write a VSL?

What's the difference between writing a VSL and writing a long-form sales letter?

Do you include the bullets? What about the headline?

Those are the only two things that I can think of that might be changed/removed.

You should have both a headline and bullets. I am not a copywriter but I have seen my fair share of VSL and read long for letters. The advantage with a VSL is that your reader have to see your sales message from point A-Z.

With long form sales copy people skip around. This can also be an advantage, you can write the sales copy so that is makes sense even if you read only one block here and a block there. To get a better understanding go to Youtube and watch Frank Kerns video about a sales letter he wrote/used. Explains the whole thing.

How to put bullets into a VSL?
Just list one and one thing at a time.

    The headline?
Well, the video should have a title to draw people in, related to the video.

    Hope this helps,

  • the basis of a good VSL is a good letter.

you need to hit the same basis.

I've seen some v successful letters with a simple "turn up your volume" headline.
