Affiliate Marketing Problem

Hi.
I`m new here, but I followed your forum constantly in the last months.

I`m in affiliate marketing business since 2012, from over 4 years.

My list has been developed since 2012, over 4 years and has all come
from opt-in pages.

All email addresses has been gathered online, and from customers who bought our products.
All our clients want to receive our communication.

All emails have an unsubscribe link in them, and we never promote third
parties or rent or lend our list.

The proof is in our low complaint and bounce rates.

We never had more than 0.08% complaint and 0.05% bounce rate.

I saw that many of the ESP are not accepting anymore affiliate marketers.

In the last year until 2 weeks ago I used Amazon AWS SES to send our newsletter, until our account was suspended , even if we had an avverage 0.05% complaint and 0.03 bounce rate.

In the last 2 weeks since our amazon account was suspended, we tried a number of ESP, and most of them just don`t want affiliate marketers, even if their policies and terms of use doesn`t mention anything about.

I`m looking for a sollution so I can send newsletters to our customers. A good solution with good inbox delivery no matter the price.

We are willing to pay even 1k $ per month just for good services.

Thanks a lot. and sorry for disturbing.

Daniel.

By ESP - you mean Email Service Provider? I am surprised that you have not had any success with Aweber, Mailchimp or GetResponse. What you are asking for, from the details you have given, doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary. If you haven't tried those mentioned (I assume you have), I do have a contact that may be able to help you.

Mailchimp definitely does not allow affiliate marketing emails.

    AWeber and GetResponse do.

we managed to send to send 2newsletters with GR, and our account was suspended, because they find certain connections with another account closed by them for abuse reason, even it was my first time using getresponse. In the last newsletter sent with GR we had 5 complaints and 20 bounces out from 28k customers. I tried to apeal the suspension, but without any succes, just said that is ireversible. After that we setup easysendy and sent with sendgrid, but again account suspended because they don't allow affiliate marketing, after we tried sparkpost, again account closed, they just don't allow affiliate marketers, and Tuesday account closed again at mailgun, we had 12 bounces and 7 complaints out of 28k customers, they don't want email marketing. Mailchimp is not a solution, I read their TOS and not accept email marketers.

I would contact Maropost | The Email Marketing Cloud Platform and see what they have to say. Just be straight up with them about the problem you are having. They are an enterprise ESP, so they charge a premium, but they are easier to work with than regular ESPs.

You could also try aweber, icontact, constant contact, to name a few.

Regular ESPs typically want you to have complaints rates below .01, which is 1 per 1000 based on domains that have have a feedback loop. Actual ISPs/providers allow anywhere from .03 - .1, so only allowing .01, they are being protective.

Do you know the breakdown of the domains in your list?

Do you know if your complaints are coming from any specific domains on a regular basis?

From what I can see it seems that most of our complaints came from comcast and aol addreses, but we never had more than .1 % complaints received.

Sparkpost is , the best ESP we tried, with the highest inbox delivery, but they had a very agresive policy against affiliate marketers. They Closed our account imediately. Also is mentioned in their ToS. They really does not allow affiliate marketing.I will talk with constant-contact support to see if they will alow me to use their services. Also most of the people I know in this business are using either GR or Aweber. We cannot use GR anymore, but we will try with aweber. From what I can see they have a 10k import limit per month. It seems that I will have to wait at least 3 months so I can import my entire list. and our list is growing fast with about 50-100 new custumers per day.
