Driving traffic with Solo ads,

I would like to know if using solo ads is a good idea for affiliate marketing. I am new to High Traffic marketing, I want to know what you guys use to drive quality traffic to your products.

Solo ad marketing works if your funnel is converting well.

You main goal should be to build your email list when using solo ads. They are basically freebie seekers. You need to get them on your list so you can soft sell to them over time. They need to be warmed and moved from the freebie seeker mentality to the buyer mentality.

It can be a very expensive way to build a list if you don't have a battle-tested squeeze page

A much better approach would be to use cheap clicks from FB and pair it with retargeting technology

You get people who actually WANT TO BE on your list (ie., who would read your updates)

Giving away freebies can lead NOWHERE because people who sign up are interested in the freebie (ie., book/video, etc) NOT the 'great info' in your updates.

I agree, once they have the freebie that they want, it can be tricky to keep them hooked. Some would unsubscribe immediately after receiving their freebie. Make sure to send them compelling content and let them know that more relevant information is coming their way!
