***CLOSED***

Seems like only yesterday I was celebrating post #2,000. But, just like the years flying by faster as we get older (that's so unfair!), #3,000 is already upon me. Millenial posts should be a time for giving back, as you know. Who am I to question this tradition?

So... I will save 2 spots in my upcoming Adsense & Amazon Coaching class for the best 2 Haiku poems written in honor of either our beloved Warrior Forum or the holiday season.

This is a $127 value, so get funky with the creativity.

In case you're not up on your Haiku, it's pretty simple. You just need 3 lines in total. The first line must contain 5 syllables. The second line must contain 7 syllables. The third line must contain 5 syllables. Here's an example (which is pretty bad, to be honest, but you'll get the point):

My favorite site
Chock full of IM goodness
Warrior Forum

Why Haiku? SHUT UP, YOU! I make the rules. :D

Besides, this place could use a little more culture, what with Zen Rednecks and chicks smoking cigars running around all over the joint.

OK, so put your berets on, fire up the bong, and get to writin'. I will be the sole judge and my decisions are not to be questioned. I don't often use my lightning bolt to smite puny mortals these days, but you don't want to test me. The class starts Thursday (Dec. 16), so you have until sometime on Wednesday to get your submissions posted here.

There is no redeemable cash value and I reserve the right to change this at any time, etc. etc. Damn lawyers.

Oh, and if you cheat and post one you find online that everyone says is great Haiku, I may take the form of a swan and "visit" your wife or girlfriend. You're totally safe if you have a husband/boyfriend, though. I'm not THAT much of a Greek.

Thank you, Warrior Forum! It's been a blast these past 3,000 posts!

John

This spot reserved for updates.

*** UPDATE ***

I'm going to extend this one more day, so you all have until about 5 pm Eastern on Thursday (Dec. 16) to get your Haikus in. Some of them are excellent! I'll have a tough time choosing. But it's fun!

Snow falling like rain
Children running everywhere
Merry Christmas all

Cheezy but the best I can do off the top of my head. ;)

Edit::

It has been brought to my attention that some people believe that everywhere has four syllables. It is broken down like eve-ry-where which makes 3 syllables.

John,

"LOL" would have been if I'd said "Pull" instead of "Watch."

But that would have left out the Zen, and the redneck part isn't something I like to let loose without adult supervision.
