Dedicated server

wiredtree has a good rep but its been awhile since we used a dedicated (mostly cloud now) and hosting companies can go bad real quick. Another good company is knownhost if you want it managed.

I have not used Wiredtree but I have been on a managed dedicated box since 2005.

Personally, I have been with Hostdime for 14 consecutive years and have been treated very, very well. I've been on a managed dedicated server with them since 2005, and a countless number of times they have went well above and beyond the call of duty for me in the wee hours of the morning. They have 24/7 live phone support which is almost always excellent, and of course they have a very responsive, professional, support ticket system as well. In the past few years they have also added 24/7 live chat which is staffed and responsive.

I have been with them basically from the beginning, and some of the same people I dealt with back in 2002 are still with the company. The Hostdime website is VERY comprehensive and gives you great insight into the company, the data center, tons of information on products, services, and staff including live cams inside the datacenter itself. Check the website, it offers more real usable info on the company, their products, and their services than almost any other hosting company on the planet.

Hostdime is not the least expensive company on the planet, but generally speaking, cheap may not be what you want for your business server. You get what you pay for here, excellent equipment, great connectivity, capable support staff, and a company that will support your endeavors with them. With hosting I have found often times you get what you pay for, and Hostdime is well worth the investment. I bounced around from company to company prior to 2002 and was never happy... I moved my sites to Hostdime reseller shared in 2002, and by 2005 I had moved to my own dedicated server (a Pentium 4 back then). I have upgraded to a more powerful server at least 4 times since then, and every time I upgraded Hostdime basically took care of everything.

Well I used it for one of my clients, but it was a while ago and not sure if I can recommend it anymore because I've been using Cloudways Managed hosting and believed it or not its super cool everything is on one click setup, man

WiredTree is great. Been using them for clients for 4 straight years. Incredible support and server performance. No downtime at all except for the times I've requested upgrades to CentOS, PHP 5.5, MariaDB and LiteSpeed. They're one of the few hosting companies that upgrades your server every few years so it never grows stale.
