Any opinions on Micro Niche Finder?

I should add something here even though the title asks my question pretty good.

Any viable alternatives? I guess that's a good addendum

I have had it forever now it seems and I'm with Adam on this one, I love it, use it regularly and support is excellent (there's an actual person on the other end of the email address). A+ all the way on MNF.

Its a really good piece of software and I highly recommend it. But there have been one or two good threads about MNF. Do a search and you will get all kinds of information about it.

I did a search in the WF and there're quite a few threads that compare MNF with Market Samurai, with quite a few votes more for MS. I am personally thinking of getting MNF very soon so I'm keen to haer more from current MNF users myself.

I have been using MNF for quite some time
now and I must say I am impressed with
the easy-to-use user interface and reports
      generated from the search.

It also keeps records of those keywords
you have searched and the other datas
which come along with it such as number
      of keywords, competitors, exact phrases
      and so on.

It is a click and run software...I just
take a nap while the software does the
      job for me.

If you have enough time to search you can use MS free keyword research tool and complete the job with the SeoQuake plug in for Firefox.

But i think is much cheaper to get a tool like MNF or MS dependind on your needs. All depends how you value your time.

It is an one time investment and a big time saver.

I have both...Market Samurai and Micro Niche Finder. I use them both, and love them both. Both are great keyword research tools. The biggest difference is that Market Samurai has many more features than just keyword research, more features than some people may use. For those folks, MNF is probably the better choice.

I use both MNF and Market Samurai. Both are worthwhile.

My question for you is: what's your primary use of the keywords? PPC campaigns? Article marketing? SEO? etc.

I posted this query in another thread, but didn't get an answer.

Does the USB stick allow you to run MNF on a Windows PC for which you don't have Administrator access? Or do you need to have Administrator access and install the programme?

      Thanks,
      Susan

This may sound like a stupid question, but I'm wondering what the strengths of this software are?

Does it help you find longtails, ect.?

Would someone care to elaborate on this a little more for me. I'm looking for a good tool to improve my keyword research.

    Thanks.

Hey the best thing about MNF is its SOC (strength of competition) score.

This analyzes how well your competition is optimized for your keywords. So, you get the number of searches, the number of competing sites AND how well they are optimized.

This had led me to pursue a ton of phrases that otherwise I might have thought were too competitive for article marketing / SEO.
