I don't want to say this is a "review" as I've not spent enough time looking at what I bought yet.

So far, the stuff I've looked at - the marketing system itself - looks like it might be okay. "Might be."

The technical stuff I've looked at is not well done. It assumes skills, and understanding most buyers won't have. The explanations are not good, not simple, not easy - but the speaker seems to think they are.

I think that a very bad sign.

There are a very few comments on the forum - which is supposed to have over 300 members. Looks like the number 300 was sort of like having your first check in your brand new checking account be # 3000.

The comments are mostly complaints about something promised - a manual - being unavailable. Supposed to be ready soon. Or, they're about the same problems I found right off...

It looks to me like people posting on the forum are much like me having purchased what looked like good stuff - some simple, ready made turnkey solutions (not easy or stupid push button, but some real solutions) - and then being "surprised" when it ain't really there.

Module 6 was supposed to be ready in May (see the "Closed" thread on this product). It's not ready.

I don't see much sign of any support activity.

Again, this may be a great system, but I'm not sure. I'm certainly not overly impressed so far. The sales pitch is simplicity. The complaints are that people don't see how to install the basic template to get started. Doesn't matter if the rest of it is simple - you're dead in the water.

I'll give them a few days to see if they "get it," but I'm not expecting much here.

Sorry to bad mouth it without having done a real review, but first impressions are all I have.

I hope I like it a lot better once I've looked a bit more, but the truth is, from what I've seen so far, it looks to this non-techie like a pain in the neck.

Similar products seem to have similar issues - unfinished, buggy, incomplete, user unfriendly, etc. Aren't we all tired of those terms in reviews.

There sure is a market for a user friendly, not buggy, simple, complete, turnkey system. This one could be that, and that's what it says it is, in the sales copy.

How about working the kinks out, completing the system, opening all the modules, getting some non-technical people to comment, etc - before selling it!

Note: I skipped a lot of the basics, and jumped to some stuff that I thought would be an area where difficulties might surface were there difficulties in the systems, and difficulties is what I found.

Besides that, the difficulties I spotted are in installing the theme. I know for sure that there's a much easier, much more simple, much more familiar way to do this, but they picked the "techie" way. Why?

I would love to hear reviews telling me I'm wrong, and explaining how...

        Jim,

I appreciate your candid review, but I think it's important to set a few things straight for those that want to get the full details and understand more about the product.

        Technical Stuff

I'm not sure how you gauge your technical "stuff", but as a consultant in the IT industry for over 15 years, I've solicited feedback from many of the beta testers and users of the system. When something needs refining I will be more than happy to do so. To date, there haven't been any complaints about how things are described and laid out. When and if there are, I will be more than happy to address those and make any corrections as needed.

        The Forum

I'm not sure where the number 300 came from, but we haven't claimed anywhere to have 300 members. Like this forum, forum activity comes from members that want to participate and get help. The forums are brand new and were opened just days before we went live with the full launch. As a result, most people are focused on the content and not trolling forums for posts as of yet. I anticipate that will change and when it does, we will be prepared to answer questions and help those people.

        Module 6

Module 6, automation, was originally scheduled to be released to our beta testers prior to our launch. The MAY date is actually June 18th. The core documentation is complete and available to all members. We are rerecording videos and clarifying some of the automation techniques with new tools. READ: We are updating a brand new course to be the most current it can be as things change in this industry quickly. Given that short time frame, we would expect our member to focus on the plan, follow the modules and when they are ready for module 6 it will be ready.

Like other courses, we could have drip fed this content over 60 day like so many others do, but we wanted to provide value to our members.

        Support

Our ticket system is being used and support issues are being addressed privately by anyone that needs assistance. We have answered all tickets within 24 hours and resolved issues.

        Complete System Being Ready

Unlike other course, the content for KSMS was 99% complete. We removed the walkthrough guide that many people have referenced and decided to rewrite the content, which will be release within the next few days. We took that original content and placed it within each module. To be clear, content and instructions are missing.

        Theme Installation

As part of the KSMS system, we provided a customized Woo Themes Canvas theme. We have also provide a completely configured theme that is accessible via a backup. We've provided step by step videos for installing and getting this theme up and running. We've realized that this may be difficult for some people, and we have provided direct download access to the plugins and will be provided a complete Canvas theme for download as well.

Jim, while I personally appreciate your opinion and feedback, I think the key for everyone to take into consideration is what Jim initially said:

I don't want to say this is a "review" as I've not spent enough time looking at what I bought yet.
Keeping that in mind, I will be happy to answer any questions about the system and what people need to know. However, please direct any support questions to our helpdesk so we can more efficiently help you.

Finally, I want state that it's not my intent to start flaming Jim, or turn this into a rant about this product. Everyone is entitle to their own opinion.

I've personally launched several products, coached people, consulted large companies with technologies and made a living online, as both a hobby and a business. I don't live for product launches and I don't launch a new product every 3 months. My goal is to really help people that need it. I feel that what has been laid out does that.

It's a one time fee and there are upsells that aren't required, but give you some extra tools, templates etc.

I'm actually shocked no Kickstart Money System customer hasn't stepped up and given an honest review.

I purchased the course 2-3 weeks ago and really enjoyed the course. I liked it so much I created an online blog to track my progress and, yes, even promote the course.

Since this is the Warrior Forum, I won't sugar coat anything.

It's basic affiliate marketing but without hype, scams or anything BlueFart.

Jeff's Kickstart Money System actually has integrity.

    I know -

    Shocking!

The Kickstart Money System covers all of the basics from niche research to setting up a money making blog to multiple traffic and SEO strategies.

Here's where Jeff delivers the most: He doesn't just covers boring rehased basics but adds a nice variety of little known tips and tricks and some advanced knowledge to boost your effectiveness with the program.

Some of the best niche research tips I've come across...and best SEO strategies and free traffics methods...

It's all simple AND all gold.

If you are a complete beginner and have no idea what a blog is or web host, this might not be the course for you. Jeff moves pretty fast through the material. It's not that an "I found out about the internet yesterday" newbie wouldn't understand it - there just might be a longer learning curve to get the material.

If you at least know what wordpress or SEO is but never set up a blog or webhost account or how to get traffic....guess what: This course is definitely for you! It's for the "I'm not completely senseless" newbie

Intermediates would pick up some great strategies, tips and knowledge.

As for advanced....I've never been advanced so I don't know what you know. I say check it out anyway. There could be some tip inside that could boost your IM success considerably.

IN my honest opinion this course is for anyone whose ever felt "stuck" and never got anything off the ground because there was always something you didn't quite understand....and you got frustrated and gave up. Well...

Imagine finally getting it... And have it all finally makes sense!

That's The Kickstart Money System in a nutshell

    As for the material:

Exploded a few Myths about SEO I hadn't really considered and lots of well rounded effective traffic generating tactics.

This course does take some time and effort but with time, you get faster. I started at a snails pace to implement to material...but only after a couple of weeks, things are going smoother.

Jeff also takes in consideration budget limitations of students. Gives most affordable options every chance he gets.

Also...even though Jeff recommends certain products, there are no affiliate links plastered all over the place. Just honest recommendations.

Now as for the remarks about the course being incomplete:

Yeah...as of right now, looks like Jeff's module on automation is lagging behind...

    But who cares?

The meat and potatoes is all there and all you really need to get started.

Just goes to show you Jeff's smart.

To quote many a successful IMer: Good enough is Good Enough.

    97% isn't perfect...but I'll take that over 0% any day

I'm sure that module will show up in the near future.

As for the forums. Nothing strange about those numbers. Typically about only 10% of members ever post on a forum - this one included.

Jeff's support has been exceptional. I bothered him about several things and I always got a prompt response. (some were toughies)

There are OTOs after the purchase - mostly added traffic tools and ready made templates and content but if you're on a tight budget, the basic course is definitely complete IMO. If you have a few hundred to spare, then by all means get them. Save yourself some time and energy (plus make some moolah quicker)

Not sure what else to tell you.

I hope that helps. My review and progress blog/ journal are in my signature (wherever that might be...See? I'm a Newbie)

Oh and if someone out there is thinking:

"Oh this sure seems like this Daniel guy is a friend or paid or posing as a customer"

    Think again.

I'm a silly intermediate IM newb who hasn't been able to rub two pennies together online and make a dime....yet

2 years and still caught in information overload.

Been a copywriter for some time and always been a bit of a technophobe when it came to IM.

You don't need my life story.

    Point is: I'm a real boy !

(oh come on! You must have seen Pinocchio)

    Well there you have it:

    My two cents
