Do your marketing efforts consist of slow and steady until your goal is reached

or fast and furious and then on to the next thing?

Both can work. which are you? And why?

    I spend too much time on projects because I am a perfectionist.
    I really hate it but there's nothing I can do about it.

    Hmmm...I would say a tortoise with my primary method (Article Martketing) since really that's the only way you can make that method work! ....But I'm like a hare when it comes to trying out different niches within Article Marketing.

      Definitely tortoise here. I always tell my husband that everything I'm doing now will fund our retirement one day...LOL Not that we don't benefit from it now too - but I like the idea of having hundreds of well-established, profitable sites out there by the time I'm 65. No penny pinching retirement for me! :p

          Same here. I've been working on my current eBook/guide since February.

          Finished it for the second time last week, and now I'm going through and hoping to finish it for the third time very soon...

          I think it depends upon the type of pressure, though. I do work better under certain types of pressure but other types of pressure just leave me indecisive and going in too many directions.

        I am more like a hairy tortoise.

        It depends on the task at hand... somethings I am painfully slow at and others that I surprise myself at the rate of work I can put out.

        Its almost like Walmart shopper speed. I make frequent unexpected stops, I make erratic turns often weaving aimlessly. Every so often I will block all means of traffic for no apparent reason.

        When its all said and done I end up with more than I intended but often forget things that I originally went for.

        I guess overall I have the focus of a tortoise but operate at the speed of a 3 legged hare.

    I would say I'm a tortoise at starting new methods and niches..

    but I would be a hare once I got it going!

    Which I guess, may not be the best method to IM!

      So, I think I start out being a hare but end up being a tortoise as I begin working on those projects.

    I am definitely a hare.

    I find that if I move too slow on a project I have a hard time finishing it... most likely because there are so many "bright shiny objects" to get distracted by.

    I think it's perfectly OK to be either one EXCEPT if you are making your own products for a time-sensitive market. If you make a product on how to exploit Twitter or a video series on how to customize WordPress you'd better be a hare because if you're not,
    your product will be outdated by the time you finish it. ;- )

    I am fast and furious and then on to the next thing until I wear myself out and have to back off a bit. I am working on doing a better job of pacing myself but have a ways to go yet.

    A tortoise! I like to think things through thoroughly first...especially if the task is complex or of there a lot of things to be done at the same time. But it gets done eventually! I also believe that if you spend time in planning and research initially, then you are less likely to make costly mistakes later on!

    Yes, even I am slow. I always think and work - but if it is something which needs the fast activity, I will do my fastest. Like some hot trending topic will not be hot after some time, so need to take action within that time. Its all varies on situation, but normally slow.
