What would you do next?

Hi. I've been building software in my niche (smart cards/id cards) whilst working as a consultant, but my consultancy has dried up. I got about a year left in the pot

I've made this website (it's five sites in one really) and whilst I have no Warrior skills (yet), I work 25 hours a day, host my own websites on my own server and never give up

I can see that my niche is very competitive, so I'm prepared to drop it if i have to. I have thought about giving the software away that I've already built. My question is, what would a warrior advise me to do which will lead me to earning some bread within a few months? - as I've said hard work is nothing to me, and I'm a very quick learner - just don't want to waste time in a niche which is too competitive for a one man effort if you know what I mean

    If I was you I would develop some software for the IM market and sell it using the direct response model.

    I don't think you should be giving your software away for free, not even to build an email list. And yes building a list is essential for you at this point. But you don't have to give away what you worked so hard on. You might consider giving away a trial version of your software as that could lead to sales of the full software version and more money for you.

    If you can build software yourself then you will never go hungry. There's never a lack of demand for softwares in the IM industry. You will just have to figure out what you can build.
