Discrepency between AdSense pageviews and Analytics/WordPress

So JetPack Site Stats say that today so far I have had around 3,200 page views.

AdSense says today I have had 1,136 page views with an RPM of $9.52

Google Analytics says I have had 4,757 page views today, and 2,598 sessions.

Why are they reporting so many different numbers? I also find it curious that AdSense is reporting the least amount of traffic.

Thoughts?

I don't know why but the numbers are always different.

Look I think that Google Analytics provide more accurate data than jetpack. However Google Adsense always shows different data than Google Analytics because Adsense will only track the pages where you have placed the adsense code. Hope It helps you.

Some pages have adsense, some pages don't. Sometimes a page has more than one ad, could be counted as more than 1 ad view per person's pageview.

Sometimes wordpress does not count your own pageview when logged in, whereas analytics and adsense does.

    Sometimes they suck.

To my understanding, some statistics websites include paintings, robots as well as visitors. Adsense on the other hand if I'm not mistaken includes only what it thinks is relevant clicks. Unfortunately sometimes you will never know why they did not include some clicks. Sometimes when I had adsence and stat counter, the stat counter website showed people clicking on the Adsense ads, but I would not get credit. It just depends on how the algorithm works it out.

You'll also find that the numbers Yo-Yo at different times of the day.
Google has a mind of it's own and it's usually driven by driving 'down' your earnings while increasing their advertisers clicks.
Check your Adsense page views, clicks etc 'hourly' and you'll get a shock :-(
