A business card IS an advertisement. Those who treat their business
cards only as a means of delivering contact information make a huge
      mistake and waste money.

Your business card should be a mini billboard for your business. Both
sides should be used to deliver a compelling message about why the person
holding the card should call you.

Yes, that is correct. A business card should emphasize the key messages that a company represents and should also have a unique look helps the recipient of the card remember who you are and what your company represents.

Some things that can help a business card stand out is texture, the design, writing style and of course the interactive business card example above.

I've seen a dude with an over-sized business card that when you fully open it up.... it looks like a $1 bill. It was hot.

The biggest cost of a business card is one that doesn't get any business.

In the Asian market it is not only the business card but how you present it to a prospect or client.

If you have ever observed the process or done business in these markets you will know what I mean.

With the ever increasing variety of cheap electronics I don't think the business card would be too expensive to produce.

The trick would be to incorporate the cardiogram missing a beat and then suggesting a check-up right away to make sure your heart was in good health.

Gimmicks are one thing and driving someone to take action is another.

I'm sure the effect would wear off after everyone you knew tried the card and the results were identical but for something to show around to your doctor mates at a conference...pretty cool.

I'd be getting the holder to book pretty quickly to get any real benefit out of the card.

Once a prospect realises it is a gimmick they may share it which could generate business but heart health is pretty serious so if it is just a simple programmable chip that is activated when the contacts are made and there is only one displayed result or heart beat I don't think that is going to necessarily drive someone to book a checkup.

If however it displayed a heartbeat and then got a bit irregular and said call XXXXXX Now there might be a problem I might react differently.

    Kind regards,

    Ozi
