How do I run a contest legally?
I thought of running a photo contest like this:
Buy something from me
Take a picture of yourself wearing/using it
Send it to me or post on social media
One winner each month gets a free t-shirt
I think it will be really easy to set up, and I think people will respond to it plus I might get some links for giving away free shirts.
But I am worried about the contest rules, and the laws and all that, I want to make money not get in any kind of trouble, so how do I figure out how to make my contest legal?
And not just the contest, I want it to be legal for me to use the pictures that are submitted in advertising and in my social media.
Is there an easy way to do all that? Do you think it's worth a try?
