Affiliate Marketing is by far an excellent way to make money (A lot of it) online. One of the reasons is that you simply drive traffic to a product and bank commissions.

It's never your case to worry about product creation, updates, maintenance, delivery and other after sale services.

But I know traffic (targeted) is always the problem. Once you've gotten your way out, to drive that traffic, here is a simple trick that will always make you money whether you are working or not. This is just one of the many tactics I shared in my Affiliate Marketing For Bloggers ebook

Focus on products that pay Recurring Commissions
Generally, you are going to have to deal with two types of commission payments:

1. Once off payment
2. Recurring Payment

In the first case, you are paid once when the sale is confirmed. In the second case, you are paid once the sale is sealed and again, each time the customer pays a monthly or yearly renewal fee.

Now, this is more interesting and it's what I recommend you focus on.

Focus on promoting subscription programs where members are billed regularly (monthly, quarterly or yearly). That makes sure you get paid commissions over and over for a sale you generate just once.

If for instance, you promote a product/service that pays $33 in commission per sale, you need just 100 sales to hit $3300 a month. That's why it's highly advisable to focus on this method, rather than jumping from one product to the other.

This product pays less than $30 per month per sale but I have been able to make a couple of affiliate sales.

The only way you may lose some money here is when the product fails to retain its customers. If refund rate is high, it's good indication that it's not a good product to promote.
