what is the best way to build a list

I have been looking for the best ways that i can build a list for my business. Its really a big concern for me.

    There is really no best way, it gets even more difficult to give advice without knowing what your business is, what products or services you offer and who your customers are.

    Typically a proven method has been to offer a "lead magnet", this is typically an ebook, guide, cheat sheet, etc and offer this as free to anyone to joins your list.

    You can put signup forms on every page of your website. You can also put a signup form in your email signature too. Telemarketing is also one way to build your email list as well as being active on blogs and forums. There are actually a lot of methods to build your list. You just have to be patient.
