Is there still a market for PLR?

I've been away for so long that I think I may be way obsolete. I am into content writing, which I have done mostly for myself in the past but I want to write content for others.
The big question is simple. Is there still a market for PLR or is it definitely dead? If it's dead I will need to look for new avenues but PLR has in the past allowed me to raise start up capital for other ventures and now I want to set up shop I would be more than willing to start producing right away. Of course if it's not the case I guess I'll have to reset and climb up through the ranks once again, not that I mind since I enjoy writing and researching.
