Hi Everone!!

My website was ranking well in Yahoo and Bing but suddenly my website was removed from both search engines. I have contacted the Bing support team, but right now no support is given by Bing team.

Also, I have checked the Bing webmaster tool, no issue or error message was found.

This is my client's website, and he is shouted at me! I can't share the website link here otherwise it will be considered as a promotional post.

Can anyone please help me!!

You must do some social media post for that website which help to get back to your ranking

First of all, Bing is never going to respond to you.

Second, are you sure it was removed from the search engines or did it just drop in rankings? Do you know how to check?

Lastly, what kind of work were you doing on the site before it dropped?

    Hi Mike,

Yes, I have checked by url:mywebsitename, no results found!

I have created backlinks on dol-follow websites, done bookmarking, content sharing etc.

That is not how you check if a site is indexed or not. You use the 'site:' search operator.

Bookmarking is an utter waste of time and pretty spammy link building in most cases.

I'm assuming by "content sharing" you mean on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. That has pretty much zero impact on search rankings. Doesn't hurt, but won't provide a benefit either.

What kind of websites are you creating links on?

I agree with the point that bookmarking is a bad practice for link building. I was unaware that they're still any popular social bookmarking sites in existence.

You must get your ranking back my creating quality backlinks, posting quality content and promote it on social media. What type of content are your posting prior to the incident?

Likely, if we saw the backlink profile of this site, we would immediately see where the problem lies. Whether it has been de-indexed or has lost all of its rankings is immaterial. If the site is that hard to find it might as well not exist and that is almost always a result of extremely bad backlinks.

Bad links sometimes help for a little while until they are discovered by an algorithm tweak and then everything comes crashing down. They must be truly horrible and manipulative if they can't pass Bing and Yahoo's rather loose backlink quality algorithm.

Paul, I know that Yahoo and Bing are same. I mean to say my website was ranked well in both, but now the website is not anywhere in the yahoo and bing.

I got this message from Bing Webmaster:
Thank you for your patience during our investigation. After further review, it appears that your site did not meet the standards set by Bing to remain indexed the last time it was crawled. To ensure that this was not a false flag, I also escalated the issue to our Product Team and they manually reviewed your site and confirmed that it is in violation of our Webmaster Guidelines detailed here: https://www.bing.com/webmaster/help/...lines-30fba23a.
We are not able to provide specifics for these types of issues but we recommend that you review our Webmaster Guidelines, especially the section Things to Avoid, and thoroughly check your site for any deliberately or accidentally employed SEO techniques that may have adversely affected your standing in Bing and Bing-powered search results.

I hope you were able to resolve the query. Have a great day ahead !

Well, Jason, it do look like you messed up royally. (You or your client.)

Read the guidelines and fix the mess, then resubmit the site. If it was you that created the mess, do what Paul suggested. If it's the client, do you really want that client? (I am being extra kind today, suggesting the client is responsible, I know. But once in a blue moon, the client IS, so there.)

That is pretty hard to accomplish in Bing.

      Is the site hacked?
