Affiliate program or something else for movie streaming website?

I have share in a movie streaming company and we don't participate in any affiliate program for now. Also we have over 70 books as products. We don't have a social media presence now we are selling via Facebook ads. Yesterday I had a meeting with one of my contractors and he told me that is ready to help my affiliate efforts. This is my question: what would be my best option to make more traffic? Affiliate program or something else?
