Looking for search engine

Not as good as major search engines but a few years ago there was a nice looking search engine you could get listed on (and be at the top), that only charged something like $5.95 a month. Anyone recall please?

    I think I found it ExactSeek not bad for the money but is it worth it for exposure? Anyone used this before with any feedback please?

    I do not think many people use it. Like you said it is 6 bucks a month to be at the top of the results. What if someone else wants to be at the top for the same keyword.

    I did a quick search on the site and the results were crap. Probably most were paying the 6 bucks a month to be at the top.

    There might be some SEO value to the listing. You should post a question in the SEO forum here and see what they have to say

    I don't agree with reposting the question - anyone in the SEO section can see the post here. If you can pay $6 to be 'at the top' - the top isn't worth much, is it?

      I was just responding so if you don't like go away.

      Moderator can we please stop this nonsense on WF it has been going on far to long, always someone wants to "have a dig". It was a simple question requiring a simple answer, there are a lot of good folk here so don't try and make the WF sour.

      It was not suggested to repost the same question, it was suggested that they post a question about the seo value of such a search engine

    Stick with Google and Bing. Other's are a waste of time IMO. I wouldn't even pay $6 to be on some crappy SE.
